  1. Oh Colleen, Such a lovely thought and so beautifully expressed. How we Grandmothers think! I too look ahead and hope that one day, my granddaughters will sit and recollect fond memories with me, and talk about it with their children/ grandchildren too. All the moments we’ve shared… all the stories we’ve told. Just as we share ourselves with each other… the joy of our bonds of love, joy, and caring.

    • I’m so glad this resonates with others. I think of these things whenever I think of my children/grandchildren. They will be living a life without me at some point. I hope they look back and smile. I think that is something ‘we’ can do for them, that will matter for a very long time.
